Let's Create Some Awesome Fireworks !

Here are two versions you can pick from

4th Of July Fireworks Craft - Glitter Version

This version is quite easy to do, you’ll play a lot with glitter so be careful and protect your table ! 😉 oh and your child also, of course.

1.

Select your colors ! Tough choice we know, try use 3 or 4 maximum and put a small amount of it on a plate.

2.

Use the roller sponge brush and have fun. Take this opportunity to teach your child how colors merge together. You can also add spots of color here and there and also, very important, glitter.

3.

Next step, using the drawing gum, paint your fireworks. Be careful, it’s magic paint! It disappears as you paint it so remember where you used it.

4.

Once it’s dry , don’t be scared, and paint everything black, like the sky on the 4th of July !

5.

Now the fun part ! Rub the drawing gum and see as your firework appears like magic! It’s our favorite moment 🙂

6.

Almost there … Get all your glitter glue and decorate the rest to have a gigantic firework

And voilà!

4th Of July Fireworks Craft - Rainbow Version

This version is quite easy to do as well, we’ll use less glitter but more brightful colors !

1.

Select your colors ! Tough choice we know, try use 3 or 4 max and put a small amount of it on a plate.

2.

Use the roller sponge brush and paint thick lines of each color.

Our advice, use a pencil to mark the width of the brush so can do both lines of the same color at the same time before cleaning your brush !

3.

Next step, using the drawing gum, paint your fireworks. Be careful, it’s magic paint! It disappears as you paint it so remember where you used it.

4.

Once it’s dry , don’t be scared, and paint everything black, like the sky on the 4th of July!

5.

Now the fun part. Rub the drawing gum and see as your firework appears like magic! It’s my favorite moment 🙂

6.

Almost there … Get (finally) your glitter glue and decorate inside the firework

And voilà!

Father's day greeting card - shirt/polo version

For Father's Day, here is a cute card that will suit all dads. Let your child's creativity spark and discover how he sees his dad so that he can personalize it according to his style! Dad doesn't wear shirts? Transform it into a polo shirt!

Father's day greeting card - Classic version

For this quick and easy version of our Father's Day greeting card, your child will be able to practice cutting and gluing but also to express his creativity: provide him with several accessories and observe his progress.

1.

First, fold the sheet in half crosswise and then turn the sheet over.

Draw a horizontal line as shown on the dotted lines, then completely cut out the hatched part on the left side of the sheet. On the right side, cut only along the dotted lines

2.

On the right part, fold the strips inwards to form the collar and fix it with glue. Vary the inclination of the collar to change the type of collar (mandarin collar) and don't hesitate to round off the angles if you want a polo effect instead.

3.

Now you just have to let your child accessorize it, let his imagination run wild: round the shoulders or the collar, add accessories, make a pocket ...

And voilà!

It's so pretty! My favorite is the one with the pocket! What about you ?

Father's day greeting card - Origami version

This origami version will require a little more concentration! Guide your child well through the different stages.

1.

First, choose a colored sheet and fold it in half crosswise. You can also use pre-decorated sheets to create a shirt that is a little more fun!

2.

Fold inwards 2 more times, following the lines as in the photo opposite.

3.

Turn over the folded sheet.

Fold a lower edge, this will be the shirt collar.

Flip the sheet over again then go to the next step.

4.

Fold the edges along the lines of the previous photo.

5.

Rotate your piece then fold the opposite edges as in the photo opposite.

6.

Then fold everything in half to form your shirt. Your child just has to accessorize it and write a note inside!

And voilà!

Father's day greeting card

Did you know ? Origami comes from Japanese and means "to fold paper" in order to give it a shape.

Mother's day - bouquet greeting card

What could be cuter than a handmade and loving gift for Mother's Day? Here is a very simple and fun activity that will make mom very happy! The objective here is to involve your child from A to Z, in semi-autonomy. Your child will be able to perfect several skills (holding the pen, cutting with a scissor, gluing) but also making his creativity spark!

Mother's Day greeting card - Pasta bouquet version

For this quick and easy version of our Mother's Day greeting card, we have chosen to use farfalle pasta but you can also choose other accessories like big buttons, pom poms, crepe paper, cotton balls , etc.

1.

For our card, we chose a turquoise cardboard sleeve, some colorful and whole wheat farfalle, but you can also take classic pasta and either paint it or cover it with glitter.

Have fun and let your child's creativity speak for itself!

To start, arrange the pasta on the card to form a beautiful bouquet.

2.

Once the pasta is positioned where you want it, draw the stems connecting each item, starting with the lowest and ending with the highest.

To guide your child, draw the starting and ending points and let him do it.

Keep the pasta close to where you want to stick it, or take a photo to remember your arrangement.

3.

It's time to stick the pasta at the end of the stems!

Help your child not to put too much glue on the small parts.

If you have taken large pasta like us, remember to spread the glue well over the entire length of the side that will be against the sheet.

4.

Finally, don't forget the final touch, the icing on the cake: the little ribbon to add at the base of the bouquet! After applying a small dot of glue, hold the bow in place with your finger for several seconds.

And now the hardest part ... a little patience: let it dry in a corner without your child touching it!

And voilà!

Your mom will be so happy! Don't forget to add a little sweet note to tell her how much you love her!

Mother's Day greeting card - Hearts bouquet version

Here, we decided to involve your child more. The idea is that he lets his creativity speak but also that he understands the possible associations of colors (or not). Choose together 1 pattern (here: flowers) and take advantage of this moment to discuss the good associations of colors. Hoping that this will give him/her some good ideas for his/her outfit tomorrow 😉

1.

We chose 3 colors (then added 2 afterwards ....) and a simple pattern: a flower. You have to explain to your child what is a pattern and that it should be repeated as much as possible and in different sizes. Drawing them on half a sheet will suffice.

You can also use pre-decorated sheets if you wish.

2.

Once the half sheet is filled with flowers, draw hearts with a pencil. Here we have drawn 6 large and 5 small.

3.

Pre-cut the hearts into squares to make cutting easier then let your child do the rest!

4.

Before moving on to the glue step, don't forget to write a little note in it! Draw some strait lines with a pencil for support and don't hesitate to provide him with a model of what to write.

5.

Fold the hearts in half and arrange them as desired for the final result. Take a picture to remember it.

6.

Draw a dot with a pencil below the place for each heart.

7.

As for the pasta version, draw the rods from the lowest heart to the highest heart.

Glue just one side of the hearts and don't forget the little knot!

And voilà !

mothers day greeting card

It was a little bit more difficult, but this is the one I prefer! What about you?
